Combining Science, Business and Hands-On Development
Meet Our Team
Seaweed Harvesting
Arvi Talk brings decades of maritime and technical experience to Vetik. A Saaremaa local and professional fisherman since 1979, he knows the coastal waters and working conditions around the island exceptionally well. He is responsible for harvesting and securing our seaweed supply and supports the practical side of production, from building and adapting equipment to working hands-on in the production process.
Product & Business Development
Tanel Ilmjärv, CEO, and Valmar Kasuk started out in life sciences and have since built broad experience in product and business development. Tanel leads Vetik’s overall development across product, production, customers, investors and international projects. Valmar draws on previous sales experience in the biotechnology sector and contributes across regulatory, commercial and strategic work as Vetik moves toward scale-up.
