Vetik is developing biostimulants from local red seaweed (Furcellaria lumbricalis) for agriculture to enhance plant growth in a sustainable way.
Our state-of-the-art process enables the simultaneous extraction of plant biostimulants for agriculture, red pigments for cosmetics, food and textile, and pulp biomass with gelling properties for bioplastics, biofertilizers, animal feed, and more.
Vetik has exclusive license to harvest large stock (200 000 tons) of red seaweed Furcellaria lumbricalis in Estonian waters.
